THOMAS W. LITZLER joined Schostak Brothers as their Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer on September 26, 2017.
Previously, Tom was the President, Midwest, for Brixmor Property Group, Inc., based in Northbrook, Illinois. In this capacity he operated 118 shopping centers with a total of 21M square feet. He oversaw leasing, construction, legal, acquisitions, redevelopment and regional operations for the Midwest. He was instrumental in supporting efforts to take Brixmor Property Group public in 2011.
Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President of Development, Redevelopment, and New Business Operations at Ramco Gershenson, Inc. as well as Senior Vice President of New Plan, a predecessor to Brixmor, and Vice President of Development for Farmer Jack.
Tom combines institutional experience with frontline expertise. He has also operated his own development and brokerage operations. He has a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the College of Wooster; Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Michigan; and Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Administration from Eastern Michigan University. He is also active with ICSC.
