STEVE BLACK joined Schostak Brothers & Company as Acquisitions Manager in 2015.
Black has over 30 year's experience with a range of property types, including land, office, industrial, retail, senior housing and marinas. As Acquisitions Manager, Steve sources, analyzes and acquires investment properties for the company’s portfolio, with a focus on growing its Supercenter Walmart shadow anchor footprint.
Prior to joining Schostak Brothers & Company, he led bank closing teams for FDIC and before that he was the director of acquisitions for Phillips Edison & Company where he sourced and acquired value add grocery anchored retail centers in the southeast U.S.
Black earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration from California State University, Long Beach. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
