JIM HARTSIG has been a member of the Schostak management team since 1995. He is responsible for all accounting functions for the real estate operations of Schostak Brothers. This includes overseeing the accounting for new construction projects as well as tenant accounting for over 100 properties. In addition, he provides due diligence reviews for all property acquisitions as well as assisting in property sales. He is also responsible for cash forecasting, budgeting and tax compliance for all the operating properties.
Jim has over 45 years of experience in the real estate industry with both publicly-held corporations and privately owned entities. His areas of expertise include retail centers, apartments, office buildings, manufactured homes and Certified Historic Rehabilitation projects.
He is a graduate of the University of Detroit and is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his initial accounting experience with the Price Waterhouse Coopers, CPA firm prior to beginning his career in the real estate field.
